Your friendly non-auditioning community choir, wishes all our supporters a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.  Our Spring Term begins on Monday 9 January, and we’d love you to join us as we rehearse for our Summer Concert on 1 July.  We’ll be singing Haydn’s Stabat Mater and Mozart Opera Choruses, Arias and Ensembles.  We rehearse on Monday evenings in The London Road Church in Harleston under the direction of our Music Director, Justin Bindley.  Fees are £40.00 per term (there are some concessions). Wishes all our followers a Happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year. We’ll be resuming our monthly talks on Wednesday 18 January at 2.00 pm, in St John’s Church, Harleston, and look forward to seeing you then, when  Steve Poulter, with the working title The Bard on Screen, will be looking at how cinema has used Shakespeare as a source and inspiration for so many films, from the glossy Hollywood movies of the 1930s, through Laurence Olivier’s interpretations, and thence to the present day.
