The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 25^th July to 12^th August 2022 for the duration of the works expected to be about 19 days within the period.

Many areas in the village have recently benefited from refurbishment and repair. The Parish Council would like to thank all volunteers who have given up their time to help preserve parish assets and keep our village looking good. Thank you also, to all volunteers who took part in the Village Litter Pick in May and to everyone who works hard to keep the village tidy though-out the year.

The 2022 tour is coming to Pulham Market 6th August 2022, 13:00 – 14:30, Station Road, outside the Memorial Hall.

On Wednesday 15 June at 2.00 pm in St John’s Church, Harleston Harleston & District u3a will be hosting a talk by Geoffrey Robinson on The Jubilee Feast Painting for George III, which adorns a wall in Worlingworth Church, Suffolk.  Through this painting, and as we celebrate this our Platinum Jubilee year, we will learn about the Golden Jubilee of George III in 1809.  For further information please phone Kim Poulton on 01986 788149 or go to our website u3asites.org.uk/harleston

1. A casual vacancy in the office of Parish Councillor exists in the above Parish.

• An election by ballot according to the Election Rules will be held if a request in writing to that effect, signed by ten local government electors for the electoral area, is delivered to The Returning Officer, South Norfolk Council, Thorpe Lodge, 1 Yarmouth Road, Thorpe St. Andrew, Norwich, NR7 ODU not later than 06 June 2022

• If an election is not requested, the Parish Council will fill this vacancy by co-option.
